Also, Sophia and Isabella will be doing a year of home-school (online) and that is another great transition for us all. I don't like some of the awkward conversations this creates with some of the missionary teachers and members of our church, but we really feel this will help our kids in the long-run. That is why we are here after all, right? We are looking down the road for them, for us. I used to be very pessimistic about home-schooling, but now I see there are certain cases and personalities that warrant it. I also never foresaw the dynamics of the present life we now live.
Mila, the young lady who lived at our house for 10 months, has now gone home to Germany. We are thankful to have had her here with our family and her participation in several of our ministry projects at the church and in our home.
We will be moving in 2 weeks! I'm not excited to move (again) but the house, the rental amount and the neighbourhood is all much better for our family. Zeus also wins because there is a good sized yard and a nice big park just down the street.
So, our life feels like it's moving too fast and our house feels unusually empty, but thank God that He's in charge and we feel guided and encouraged to continue serving and living this crazy life in Bolivia. —Jodi
